Enthusiasm for fast.LANE® at the ISE in Amsterdam

From the 5th to the 8th of February 2019 it was time to present the Sachsenkabel-brand fast.LANE® for the first time at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam.  ISE is a leading trade fair for system integration, digital signage, life event production, smart home and smart building communities.

We presented the 12-fold Expanded-Beam connector EUROLENS, that was specially developed for harsh environments (protection class IP67). As certified LEMO assembly partner we also presented  a patch panel with SMPTE 304 and SMPTE 311 compliant 3K-93C LEMO-Hybrid fiber optic connectors for video applications.

But that’s not all: Visitors to the fair were given exclusive tips on how to handle fiber optic cables in the right way. “Above all the faulty description, which can occur with a contamination of the fiber optic connector and the cleaning of the connectors were interesting for the visitors. Especially newcomers in the field of fiber optics could get some helpful information. “, So the feedback of our fair team Sophie Beck and Sven Tittel.

Review: Prolight+Sound/Music Fair from April, 11th to April, 14th 2018 in Frankfurt am Main

With around 90,000 visitors from 152 countries, the Prolight+Sound/Music Fair convinced this year once again. Numerous companies used the event to present their innovations to an international audience. Sachsenkabel presented the innovations from the fast.LANE® product range for broadcast, event technology and content delivery.

The focus of the trade fair appearance was the specially designed 12-fold Eurolens Expanded Beam connector for use in harsh environments. This connector offers 12 fiber channels and allows the connection of several single units over a central twelve-fiber optic line.

As another innovation Sachsenkabel presented pre-assembled cable lines and cable drums with the SMPTE-conform LEMO-connectors of the 3K.93.C series. These connectors are suitable for both: studio installations and outdoor use. Sachsenkabel is one of just three certified manufacturers of LEMO-connectors in the German market.

Furthermore, the numerous stand visitors experienced how an active fiber transmission line is led to a screen from the camera through a water basin, in order to simulate a harsh environment and demonstrate the protection class IP 67.

Our Key Account Managers fast.LANE®, Sven Tittel, summarized: “The feedback on our products and system solutions was excellent. The Prolight+Sound/Music Fair is an excellent platform to promote our portfolio. We were able to make many new contacts at our very well attended booth.”
